A Meeting Was Held with YLSY Scholarship Holders Studying Abroad on Behalf of TÜSEB
On 20 April 2026, an online meeting was held under the coordination of the International Relations Department of the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) for scholarship holders pursuing postgraduate studies abroad within the scope of the Ministry of National Education’s Scholarship Program for Students to Be Sent Abroad for Graduate Studies (YLSY).
During the meeting, issues related to monitoring the scholarship holders’ educational processes and enhancing the effectiveness of institutional communication processes were discussed. In addition, the scholarship holders were informed about the general framework of the procedures to be followed during their return to Türkiye.
Promotional and informational activities aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the scholarship program, as well as practices intended to strengthen students’ sense of institutional belonging, were also included on the meeting agenda.
The meeting, held interactively with strong participation from the scholarship holders, concluded with the participants’ questions being answered by Fatih Karademir, Head of the International Relations Department.
In addition, emphasis was placed on the importance of scholarship holders contributing to the country’s health R&D capacity through project development processes upon their return to Türkiye.
TÜSEB will continue its communication and coordination activities with scholarship holders studying abroad, with the aim of developing qualified human resources in the field of health sciences and strengthening the country’s research and development capacity.
