A Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between TÜSEB and the Salidat Kairbekova National Research Center for Health Development of Kazakhstan
On 29 July 2025, a series of agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of health between the Republic of Türkiye and the Republic of Kazakhstan were signed in Ankara, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding providing for institutional cooperation between TÜSEB and the Salidat Kairbekova National Research Center for Health Development of Kazakhstan was signed by H.E. Mr. Kemal Memişoğlu, Minister of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, and H.E. Mr. Yerkebulan Sapiyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Türkiye.
The Memorandum of Understanding covers a wide range of strategic areas, including health research, biotechnology, drug development, oncology, personalized medicine, quality and accreditation in healthcare services, telemedicine applications, and the development of human resource capacity.
The cooperation is expected to further strengthen health diplomacy and foster the joint advancement of scientific capacity.
