Advancing the Century of Healthy Türkiye: Technology Transfer Office Branch Opened at Erzurum City Hospital.
The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) branch, established under the protocol signed between Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) and Erzurum City Hospital, became operational as of September 2025. The opening of the TTO branch was attended by President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan, Erzurum City Hospital Chief Coordinator Doç. Dr. İbrahim Hakkı Tör, Secretary General of TÜSEB Ahmet Zengin, Head of TTO Doç. Dr. Zeliha Özdemir Köken, Head of Project Management and Support Department Batuhan Yeşilyurt, Head of TÜSEB Administrative Services Department Nuhi Çelikkaya, TTO R&D Specialist Dr. Bengü Aktaş, as well as hospital administrators and healthcare staff of Erzurum City Hospital.
Established in line with TÜSEB’s “Innovative Health Model,” TÜSEB TTO Erzurum City Hospital Branch aims to strengthen the “From Idea to Product” objective by bringing innovative ideas derived from the experiences of healthcare professionals to life.
In addition to TTO branches operating in Ankara, İzmir, and Istanbul, this new branch in Erzurum represents an important step in spreading a culture of innovation and creativity in healthcare across Anatolia. TÜSEB Technology Transfer Offices are dedicated to developing value-added products in the healthcare sector, supporting domestic production, and enhancing Türkiye’s competitiveness in the global healthcare market.
