An Information Meeting on ESFRI was Held with YLSY Scholarship Holders
On March 2, 2025, the Information Meeting on ESFRI with YLSY Scholarship Holders was attended by Prof. Dr. F. Duygu ÖZEL DEMİRALP, Head of Türkiye Biotechnology Institute (TBE), and Fatih KARADEMİR, Head of Foreign Affairs Department.
During the meeting, important information about the European Strategic Forum on Research Infrastructure (ESFRI) was presented to the YLSY scholarship holders.
In this meeting, organized to enhance the contributions of YLSY scholarship holders in the international academic field, the importance of active participation in ESFRI processes, especially in relation to TÜSEB's areas of activity and biotechnology projects, was emphasized.
Among the main topics discussed were critical areas such as newborn screening, genetic editing technologies, and the future of biobanks.
Through YLSY scholarship holders, TÜSEB aims to represent Türkiye's biotechnological projects more strongly on global platforms.
