“Artificial Intelligence in Health” Competition was Held.
TUSEB made an overwhelming impression in the field of health at TEKNOFEST, Turkey’s first and only aerospace and technology festival held at Atatürk Airport on September 21 – 26.
TUSEB and Ministry of Health held “Artificial Intelligence in Health” Competition in the festival that TUSEB attended for the first time.
51 teams that have passed pre-selection part competed in the competition that the teenagers showed great interest. The process of competition was completed in two sessions as soon as TUSEB President Prof. Dr. Erhan Akdoğan started the competition. In the first stage, the task is to classify brain CT with normal limits and brain CT with stroke findings from the competing teams, and in the second stage, to classify the obstructive (ischemic) type of the stroke or the bleeding (haemorrhagic) type. Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Şuayip Birinci announced the competitors ranking the highest. Team AI-DEO ranked the first, GÖKSENİN-AI the second, XYZ.AI the third in the competition.
The first ranking team AI-DEO received the prize from President RecepTayyip Erdoğan and Nobel Prize-winning scientist Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar on the TEKNOFEST stage. Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca congratulated the ranking teams during his visit to TUSEB booth.
Following “Artificial Intelligence in Health” Competition, “The Best Presentation” Competition which was free for all the competitors was held. The winner “IFL DÜŞÜNÜRLER” received the prize from President of TUSEB Prof. Dr. Erhan Akdoğan.
