BİYAŞAM Training Series-'Applied Gene Transfer Training in Eukaryotic Systems' Applications
Organized by TÜSEB Turkiye Biotechnology Institute, 'Applied Gene Transfer Training in Eukaryotic Systems' is going to be held in Ankara Aziz Sancar Research Center (ASAM) on July 25-26, 2024.
The training going to start at 09:15 on July 25 and last for two days, following theoretical courses related to; basic introduction, practical utilization, recent developments, gene transfer tools, related methods and technologies related to gene transfer, applied training section going to be held on the topics of; gene transfer to eukaryotic cells with different transfection methods, calculation of transfection efficiency, virus production and purification, viral transduction, viral transduction efficiency and titration calculation stages.
Undergraduate or graduate level students from Molecular Biology & Genetics, Bioengineering, Genetics & Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Biology, Medicine or related disciplines will be able to attend the training free of charge.
Students who wish to participate are required to fill out the application form given in the link below.
The training has a quota and it is limited to 15 participants. Applications will be determined by evaluating the criteria of; purpose and motivation of application, working status in the relevant field and application order. Only the participants accepted to the training will be notified via email (Rejected applicants will not be notified separately).
