Cooperation in the Supply Chain Strengthens Among Turkic States
The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Supply Chain Group Meeting, held on February 27, 2025, was attended by Fatih KARADEMİR, Head of Foreign Affairs Department; Haydar Rıdvan CİVAN, Health Specialist at International Organizations and Asia Unit of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye; Aslı AYATA, Pharmacist at Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency; Mine SERTKAN, Representative of the OTS Secretariat; and representatives of the member states.
The main agenda of the meeting, where detailed information was shared on Türkiye’s Pharmaceutical Track and Trace System, centralized procurement model, and digital monitoring mechanisms, focused on ensuring regulatory harmonization and strengthening technical infrastructure among member states.
Representatives from Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan came together to evaluate the challenges faced in pharmaceutical and medical device supply processes and discuss potential solutions.
During the meeting, it was stated that efforts to enhance cooperation in the supply chain among OTS member countries and to seek joint solutions would continue.
