Cooperation Protocol Signed Between TÜSEB and HEVI AI

A cooperation protocol has been signed between Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) and the domestic startup Hevi AI for the development and national-scale implementation of AI-based clinical decision support systems in the field of radiology.

The signing ceremony was held with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan, President of TÜSEB, and Assoc. Prof. Deniz Alış, Co-founder of Hevi AI.

This collaboration with Hevi AI—founded by Assoc. Prof. Deniz Alış, Mert Çelenk, and Mert Yergin—encompasses the development and enhancement of MDR-CE certified medical device software in the fields of stroke and brain haemorrhage, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and lung diseases. It further includes the implementation of large-scale applications in public hospitals and the positioning of these technologies in international markets.

Within the scope of the project, the primary objectives include accelerating diagnostic processes, increasing accuracy rates, prioritizing critical cases, enhancing success in cancer diagnosis, and balancing clinical workloads.

In line with TÜSEB’s 'Innovative Health Model' vision, the ongoing activities will be expanded nationwide, supported by joint R&D efforts, multi-centre clinical evaluations, and user training. This strategic collaboration will contribute to accelerating the AI-based digital transformation in healthcare services and empower Türkiye to achieve a stronger position on a global scale within the field of health technologies.
