Iftar meeting with Health Professionals
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with healthcare professionals, working at various levels, at an iftar dinner at the Presidential Complex.
Recalling that Türkiye was one of the first countries to gain access to vaccines during the outbreak, President Erdoğan stated: “We not only provided vaccine but also develop our own vaccine rapidly, so that we clinched our strength. Our domestically produced vaccine TURKOVAC is helping millions across the world as well as our own citizens. Through Türkiye Vaccine Institute and Clinical Research Centre we founded, we are carrying out high-quality works in this field. We are determined to crown with victory the fight we have successfully been waging for the past 2 years against the outbreak that deeply shook the world.”
The iftar dinner was attended by TÜSEB Vice President Assoc. Prof. Rabia Çakır Koç, Vice Secretary General Muhammet Sönmez, TÜSEB Vice Director of Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute Assoc. Prof. İbrahim Halil Kayral.
