Mini Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Health

Hosted by TÜSEB and in cooperation with İzmir Bakırçay University, İzmir Provincial Health Directorate and International Artificial Intelligence in Health Association, The VI. Series of Mini Symposium on Artificial Intelligence in Health, themed “Medical Imaging Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Solutions”, in which the current research on artificial intelligence in health will be discussed, has started today.   

The Director of Turkish Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications (TÜYZE) Prof. Dr. Songül Varlı moderated the symposium, which was held online and supported by TÜSEB owing to the enormous importance of artificial intelligence in developing health sciences and technologies. “Physiotherapy and Virtual Rehabilitation Software Systems” by Prof. Dr. Yusuf Sinan Akgül from Gebze Technical University, “TeknoFest 2021 – The First Artificial Intelligence in Health Competition in Turkey” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ural Koç from Ankara City Hospital, “Artificial Intelligence in Genetic Diagnosis” by Dr. Abdülkerim Çapar from Argenit Smart Info Technologies, “Machine Learning on MR Images for Detection of Genetic Mutations in Brain Tumours” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esin Öztürk Işık from Boğaziçi University and “The Detecting and Correcting Cardiac MR Image Quality Issues with Deep Learning” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlkay Öksüz from İstanbul Technical University will be discussed in the symposium and the speakers will share their information and experiences on the related issues.
