President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Erhan AKOĞAN attended "Clinical Trials Workshop" organized by SABIOTEK
On May 31, 2023, a workshop on clinical trials was organized by the Health Biotechnology Excellence Joint Application and Research Center (SABİOTEK), one of TÜSEB's affiliated centers, hosted by Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa. The event was attended by President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Erhan AKDOĞAN, TÜSEB Vice President and Director of Türkiye Biotechnology Institute Prof. Dr. Rabia ÇAKIR KOÇ, TÜSEB Vice President and Director of Türkiye Health Data Research and Artificial Intelligence Applications Institute Prof. Dr. Songül VARLI, and Head of TÜSEB Project Management and Support Department Batuhan YEŞİLYURT.
During his opening speech at the workshop, which was attended by the rectors of Yıldız Technical University, Marmara University, and Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa, President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Erhan AKDOĞAN emphasized the importance of clinical trials. He provided insights into strategic collaboration efforts in clinical trial with Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK), the training programs offered in this context, and TÜSEB's role as the sole institution providing project support in the field of clinical trials in Türkiye. AKDOĞAN also answered questions from the attending academics and discussed TÜSEB's support and activities. During the workshop, Batuhan YEŞİLYURT delivered a presentation titled "TÜSEB C and D Group Large-Scale Project Supports: New Support Models," providing detailed information to the participants.
