President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan visited KOBAY Inc. Experimental Animals Center, which operates in Ankara.
Within the scope of the visit, Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan met with Begüm Buğdaycı, the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of KOBAY Inc., and received information regarding the center's infrastructure, ongoing R&D projects, and its contributions to national scientific research. During the meeting, the strategic importance of ethical and sustainable laboratory animal production in reducing Turkey’s foreign dependency in health research was emphasized.
The visit concluded with an evaluation of future joint projects and collaboration opportunities that could be executed between the two institutions.
