Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Paid a Visit to Aziz Sancar Research Centre (ASAM)
We were deeply honoured to host our Nobel Prize-winning scientist and source of national pride, Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar, at TÜSEB Aziz Sancar Research Centre in Ankara, which proudly bears his name.
During his visit to the centre established in his honour, Prof. Dr. Sancar received detailed briefings on the ongoing research projects and our state-of-the-art laboratory infrastructure. As part of his visit, he also planted a memorial tree in the garden of our campus. With this sapling, he conveyed a powerful message: that science will take deep roots and flourish within this very centre.
In this sanctuary where the scientists of the future will be nurtured, Prof. Dr. Sancar’s experiences and vision have once again enlightened our path. We continue to advance toward Türkiye’s goals in health sciences and technologies, following in his footsteps and guided by the light of science. 🇹🇷🧬🌳
