The Memorandum of Understanding on Health Research Signed Between the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health, TÜSEB, and IHME.

On November 24, 2025, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health, the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB), and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), one of the world's leading population health research organizations, to strengthen collaboration in the fields of health metrics and population health research.

With the signed MoU, the parties have reached an agreement on developing scientific research and strengthening cooperation in the field of health. Within the scope of the agreement, it is aimed to support evidence-based policymaking, enhance institutional and technical capacity, and conduct joint research, training, and information-sharing activities.

The aforementioned cooperation aims to contribute to the improvement of public health outcomes, prepare analyses and reports regarding health system performance, develop joint scholarship and mentorship programs, and ensure the national and international dissemination of the resulting scientific outputs.

This strategic partnership represents a significant step in strengthening Türkiye’s research capacity in the field of health, increasing international scientific collaborations, and supporting health policies through robust data-driven and evidence-based approaches.
