The Protocol Rules Training Provided to TÜSEB Istanbul Team
Under the coordination of TÜSEB Foreign Affairs Department, an in-service training program on “Protocol Rules” was held in Istanbul on May 8, 2025. The training aimed to enhance representational competencies in public service and strengthen institutional culture.
The training program, prepared for the TÜSEB team within the framework of the 2025 General Plan for Civil Servant Training and the in-service training regulations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, aimed to raise awareness on how protocol rules should be applied not only in international relations or official ceremonies but also in the daily operations of public service.
The opening remarks of the program were delivered by Fatih KARADEMİR, Head of TÜSEB Foreign Affairs Department. In his speech, he addressed the significance and role of protocol rules in public service. The guest speaker of the training was Dr. Mehmet GÜLLÜOĞLU, who has previously served in key positions at the Turkish Red Crescent Headquarters, the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), and the Embassy of Türkiye in Tanzania, and currently serves as an Ambassadorial Advisor at the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Through his presentation, he shared his extensive experience in the fields of protocol and diplomacy with the participants.
The training provided participants with significant gains in terms of individual and institutional representation. It was emphasized that, beyond reinforcing protocol rules and institutional representation, it also serves as a tool to strengthen TÜSEB’s stance in national and international relations.
TÜSEB remains committed to supporting the professional development of its team and will continue to deliver training programs aimed at enhancing representational competencies in public service.
