Therapeutic Vaccine Workshop Was Held.
'Therapeutic Vaccine Workshop' was held with international participation in order to develop therapeutic vaccine in our country with all its steps starting from antigen.
Prof. Dr. Adil Mardinoğlu, President of TUSEB, who was the keynote speaker of the workshop, emphasized the importance of producing cancer vaccines in our country and providing them to the patients in a reliable way. It was also mentioned that such scientific meeting has made great contributions to the course of action of TUSEB in the new era intended to produce domestic and national vaccines. It was stated that in line with the vision of domestication and nationalization in medicine, vaccine and medical device which Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca described as "our most important strategic goal", effective and permanent solution will be implemented by TUSEB.
Prof. Dr. Adil Mardinoğlu, President of TUSEB, and Prof. Dr. Hasan TÜRKEZ, Secretary General of TUSEB, moderated the opening session of Therapeutic Vaccine Workshop held on TUSEB Koşuyolu Campus, on July 18, 2019. Academicians, the managers of Non-Govermental Organizations and representatives of many national and international companies operating in the relevant field attended the scientific event.
Innovative activities which will enable the therapeutic vaccines to be produced in Turkey with all steps starting from the antigen using technology transfer and the socio-economic contribution potential of these activities were also discussed in detail.
