Turkic States Unite Their Strength in the Fight Against Cancer!
The second meeting of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Cancer Sub-Working Group, held online on January 29, 2025, was attended by Head of Türkiye Cancer Institute, Prof. Dr. Burak CİVELEK, Head of Department of Foreign Affairs, Fatih KARADEMİR, a representative of the OTS Secretariat, and representatives of the member states.
The meeting addressed the development of cancer treatment methods, the strengthening of healthcare services, and the utilization of new technologies, aiming to take significant steps in the fight against cancer. To enhance cooperation, joint studies and projects were planned, and it was decided to expand training and awareness activities. Additionally, common strategies for combating cancer were established, taking significant steps toward future collaborations.
