Tüseb And Social Security Institution (SGK) Launch Strategic Partnership Protocol Focused On Health Policy Development And Healthcare Financing

A Cooperation Protocol in the Field of Health Policies and Financing has been implemented between the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) and the Social Security Institution (SGK).

The protocol was formalized with the support and participation of Prof. Vedat IŞIKHAN, Minister of Labour and Social Security; Prof. Serkan TOPALOĞLU, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Health Policies Council; Assoc. Prof. Şuayip BİRİNCİ, Deputy Minister of Health; Prof. Kemalettin AYDIN, Rector of the University of Health Sciences; Prof. Necdet ÜNÜVAR, Rector of Ankara University; and Prof. Ümit KERVAN, President of TÜSEB.

Within the scope of this cooperation, the following objectives are targeted:

• 📊 Enhancing healthcare expenditures based on the principles of effectiveness and efficiency.

• 📑 Strengthening reimbursement and service utilization analyses regarding General Health Insurance (GSS) applications.

• 🔬 Developing evidence-based health policies.

• 🎓 Increasing institutional capacity in the fields of health economics, health technology assessment (HTA), and policy analysis.

By integrating TÜSEB’s scientific research and analytical capabilities with SGK’s practical and financing expertise, the partnership aims to provide strategic contributions toward a sustainable and resilient healthcare system.
