TÜSEB Convenes the Inaugural Meeting of the International Scientific Advisory Board.
The International Scientific Advisory Board, established under Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB), held its inaugural meeting online on December 22, 2025. The meeting commenced with the opening remarks of Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan, President of TÜSEB.
During the opening, Prof. Dr. Kervan conveyed his expectations regarding the board’s mission, anticipated outcomes, and operational procedures. Subsequently, Fatih Karademir, Head of Foreign Affairs Department at TÜSEB, provided a briefing on the legal and institutional framework of the board.
Board members delivered brief presentations on their academic and professional backgrounds, highlighting the potential contributions they could offer to TÜSEB and Türkiye’s health and science ecosystem.
In the final section of the meeting, the board’s expectations and operational model were addressed. A consensus was reached regarding the board’s role in developing strategic perspectives, fostering international collaborations, and undertaking mentorship activities.
We envision the TÜSEB International Scientific Advisory Board contributing significantly to the advancement of Türkiye’s health sciences and technologies and wish this initiative to be beneficial for all stakeholders.
