TÜSEB Delegation Paid a Visit to the Directorate General of Public Health
Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB) delegation visited the Directorate General of Public Health on September 4, 2025. The meeting was hosted by Ekrem Sağtaş, Head of the Department of Microbiology Reference Laboratories and Biological Products at the Directorate General of Public Health.
The visit included President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan, Head of Türkiye Vaccine Institute (TAE) Prof. Dr. Ateş Kara, Head of Türkiye Biotechnology Institute (TBE) Prof. Dr. F. Duygu Özel Demiralp, General Manager of Health Science and Technologies Inc. (Sağlık Bilim ve Teknolojileri A.Ş.) Nur Çiçek Kekeç Şenel, along with researchers from TÜSEB.
During the visit, the TÜSEB Delegation toured 20 different vaccine and diagnostic laboratories within the Directorate General of Public Health, where they received information about the ongoing studies and evaluated potential projects to be conducted in the laboratories. Discussions were held regarding the development of collaborations in the health sector, the strengthening of research infrastructures, and the implementation of joint studies that will contribute to Türkiye’s health vision.
TÜSEB attaches importance to all forms of collaboration that will contribute to the development of the national health system and will continue to increase our country’s capacity in the health sector through research, development, and innovative solutions.
