TÜSEB Emphasized the “From Idea to Product: Innovative Health” Approach at the Medical Device Governance Summit
The Türkiye Health Industry Governance Summit brought together leading stakeholders of the healthcare sector in Antalya on May 20–22, 2025. On the opening day of the summit, President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Ümit KERVAN delivered a speech titled “From Idea to Product: Innovative Health”.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Ümit KERVAN emphasized the importance of Türkiye’s investments in the national production and R&D ecosystem in the field of medical devices. He stated, “We now have a healthcare system that not only consumes but also designs, develops, and transforms ideas into products.”
Prof. Dr. Ümit KERVAN also underlined that TÜSEB’s support programs, along with projects implemented through collaborations with various public institutions and public–private partnerships, have strengthened Türkiye’s position on the international healthcare technologies stage. He emphasized that domestic production is not only an economic matter but also a strategic security priority.
