TÜSEB Future Pandemics Symposium Was Held
With the experience gained during the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing together all the stakeholders of the ecosystem in order to determine the roadmap of our country for future pandemics, to make comprehensive evaluations, to ensure coordination and to determine strategies will constitute a guarantee for the creation of solutions to the problems that our country will face in the future. In this context, it is of great importance to reveal studies and developments in epidemiology, coordination, infrastructure, technology and communication, transformations in diagnosis, treatment and vaccine studies, prototype pathogens and potential risks. Within the scope of the said situation, "TÜSEB Future Pandemics Symposium", organized by TÜSEB, the leading institution of the health ecosystem, to contribute to the common future of humanity, was held on 11-12 October 2022 in the meeting hall of the Bilkent Campus of the Ministry of Health.
At the opening conference of the symposium, which started with the participation and opening speeches of the Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin KOCA, President of TÜSEB Prof. Dr. Erhan AKDOĞAN evaluated the topic of “Future Pandemics through TUSEB Perspective”. With the experiences gained during COVID-19 pandemic, the evaluations regarding the road map about the future pandemics were constituted with the leading experts in the field of communication, education, trade, international interaction, and health, at the symposium where different perspectives on COVI-19 pandemic, potential risks of future pandemics, and the necessary precautions to be taken were discussed under the title of ten sessions.
