TÜSEB Represented Ministry of Health at the 3rd World Local Production Forum

The 3rd World Local Production Forum was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, between April 7-9, 2025, under the theme of “Advancing Local Production for Health Equity, Global Health Security and Sustainable Development.” Organized by the WHO Local Production and Assistance Unit (LPA) in collaboration with the UAE, the forum addressed the critical role of local production in promoting resilience, equity, and access to essential health products such as medicines, vaccines, and diagnostics. Featuring over 30 plenary sessions and panel discussions, the Forum brought together high-level representatives from governments, international organizations, financial institutions, the private sector, civil society, and academia, providing participants with significant opportunities to forge partnerships, foster innovation, and shape the future of local production.

Representing the Ministry of Health at the World Local Production Forum (WLPF) and AIM Congress were Batuhan YEŞİLYURT, Head of TÜSEB Project Management and Support Department, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aziz KÜÇÜK, Head of Health Industries Localization and Project Development Department. During the events, TÜSEB delegation held numerous meetings with international start-ups, investors, and health authorities, establishing significant contacts aimed at strengthening local production, creating investment models, accelerating technology transfer, and forming new collaborations.

In the context of strengthening global health systems and expanding local production in light of scientific and technological advancements, our Presidency will continue its activities aimed at enabling our country to assume a more active role.
