Domestic and national studies, which Ministry of Health pressed ahead with, have started. In line with "application of individualized medicine to the health system" target of TUSEB, two new collaboration calls have begun.

With "Applied Project Collaboration Call in the Field of Drug Dvelopment", TUSEB aims at developing and producing therapeutic agents, biosimilars, gebe therapies and immunotherapies at worldwide quality and standards; such biotechnological molecules, which are developed in different structures, produced and will be commercialized, as protein, fusion protein, monoclonal antibody, antibod-drug conjugates that constitute a significant part of pharmaceutical expenditures in Turkey and whose share is expected to increase gradually in the coming years. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the economy with innovative products and to create technological experience at relevant field.

PRof Dr. Adil Mardinoğlu, President of TUSEB, emphasized the necessity of scientific and technological potential to be activated in order cellular theraphy products to be developed and produced in Turkey. Explaining that "Applied Project Collaboration Call in the Field of Drug Development" is planned and put it into practice to support R & D studies to produce pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products, Prof. Dr. Adil Mardinoğlu stated that it is aimed to bring candidate drug studies in Turkey from R & D stage to production stage by TUSEB, to transform them into products that can be used for treatment, to meet the needs of the national health system in this field and to reduce external dependence with this program.

The second project call by TUSEB is " Applied Project Collaboration Call in the Field od Diagnostic Kit Development" which is intended to develop and produce the domestic diagnostic kits that provide the easiest and fastest results for existing or potential diseases. Expressing the details of the project, Prof. Dr. Hasan Türkez, Secretary General of TUSEB, stated that it is aimed to obtain exportable products which are able to compete with the other products in international market and to reduce external dependency. Türkez also emphaszed that as TUSEB, it is given importance to support collaborations which provide innovative solution and technological product for the development and production of diagnostic kits to be used risk estimation, earlt diagnosis, diagnosis, follow-up of the course of the diseases, treatment selection etc. He explained that the targeted products will be suitable for application in medical labs and research centers, authenticated, cost-effective and can give results in a short time, comply with international standarts, have high efficiencyand user-friendly.
