TÜSEB Technology Transfer Office Visited İzmir City Hospital Branch
TÜSEB Technology Transfer Office (TTO) paid a visit to the İzmir City Hospital on October 10, 2025, to hold a meeting aimed at strengthening current activities related to technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and intellectual property processes within the health sector.
As part of the visit program, TÜSEB TTO İzmir Branch was visited first, where discussions were held with branch personnel regarding current projects, ongoing activities, and future planning.
In the second part of the program, an information session for hospital staff addressed the general activities of TÜSEB TTO, application procedures, and innovative product development topics. Within this session, briefings were provided on TÜSEB TTO activities and support by Assoc. Prof. Zeliha Özdemir Köken, Director of TÜSEB TTO; entrepreneur application processes by Assoc. Prof. Yeliz Doğan Merih; IP application processes and the concept of service invention by Dr. Bengü Aktaş; and prototype development for innovative products by TÜYZE Assist. Prof. Mehmet Emin Aktan.
In the final part of the program, one-on-one meetings were held with healthcare professionals. These meetings facilitated the sharing of ideas and projects by the healthcare professionals, along with discussions regarding entrepreneurship and the processes related to intellectual and industrial property rights.
