TÜSEB YLSY Scholars and Heads of TÜSEB Institutes Meet in an Online Meeting

On December 23, 2024, an online meeting was held with the participation of scholars pursuing their education in various countries under the Ministry of National Education (MEB) Directorate General for Higher Education and Overseas Education (YLSY) on behalf of Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB). The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Figen ÇİZMECİ ŞENEL, Head of Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute; Prof. Dr. F. Duygu ÖZEL DEMİRALP, Head of Türkiye Biotechnology Institute; Prof. Dr. Işıl MARAL, Head of Türkiye Health Policies Institute; Prof. Dr. Şirin GÜVEN, Head of Türkiye Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Institute; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu YÜCEL, Acting Head of Türkiye Cancer Institute; and Fatih KARADEMİR, Head of Foreign Affairs Department.

The meeting aimed to guide scholars in shaping their academic careers to enable them to make more effective contributions to the strategic goals of Türkiye. Heads of TÜSEB Institutes provided direct insights into their scientific studies and ongoing projects.

During the meeting, scholars had the opportunity to gain direct information about the activities and infrastructure of TÜSEB Institutes from the respective Head of the Institute. They were also able to pose questions on topics of interest, fostering a deeper understanding of TÜSEB and its institutes. Scholars expressed that the interest and support shown to them significantly strengthened their sense of institutional belonging.

Heads of TÜSEB Institutes evaluated the scientific studies conducted by the scholars and provided constructive feedback regarding their academic paths. This interaction served as a valuable opportunity to better acquaint scholars with the activities of TÜSEB Institutes and to support their future contributions to Türkiye's strategic goals.

TÜSEB reaffirmed its commitment to supporting its scholars throughout their academic and administrative processes, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for both individual and institutional development.
